The long awaited follow up to 2017's Far Beyond The Black faced a long uphill climb but it's finally here. Some of these songs were written back in 2018 and never got on track. I had Henry working on lyrics for them and months ended up turning into years and once the worldwide Coronavirus hit I knew that it would possibly push it back even further. At that point I began working on lyrics myself and decided to do the vocals.
The songs are slightly different as they have a more gothic feel to them than some of the songs I've done in the past...and obviously not having Henry's lyrics or vocals on it make a huge difference in what they probably would had ended up like.
Black Feathers,Dark Star and a re-worked Killer In My Family Tree are from my original writing session. Eternal Sorrow,Road To Madness,Deranged and The Last Remains were written in March-April 2020.
In all I am pleased with the outcome and I look forward to finally getting people to hear this material. Thank you for all of your support over the years. As always it is greatly appreciated.
